«Hi! My name is Julia. I would like to take the opportunity of introducing myself as a new teacher of the company. Currently I'm Associate Professorat HSE (High School of Economics), Saint-Petersburg branch. As an Assosiate Professor, my areas of interest and specialization include Intercultural Communication, Cognitive Linguistics, Lexicology, English Grammar, Speech Practice, Business English and some others. My teaching philosophy is student-centred where the lecture and discussion style or both are applied to student need. Generally, the learning style is based on variety of approaches including using authentic texts, films, role play, multimedia, cooperative learning and much more in presenting lessons. My teaching experience is both broad and deep with diverse background of classes, projects, and levels of students (from elementary to advanced level). Most of my students show a profound knowledge of English and strong results in all sorts of exams, including IELTS and TOEFL».
